Meet the Staff
Anne Chandler, Owner
It is a joy for my husband Stew and me to have our four adult children and grandchildren living close by, and we cherish our time with them. I love our home in Hunt Valley, which has comfortably provided a separate child care facility since 1991. I enjoy cooking and baking for family and friends, but most especially I adore spending time at the ocean.
Emily Wilson, Director
My name is Emily Wilson and I am the Director of Ridge Country Childcare. I graduated from Maryvale Preparatory School in 2000, and received my Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Goucher College in 2004. After working in the advertising industry for six years, I decided to make a positive change in my life and career by working with children. Anne Chandler is my mother and I grew up in this home, so I have been around or a part of this center since 1991. My husband Matt and I have one son, Bo, who was born in 2014.
Sarah Paul, Assistant Director
My name is Sarah Paul and I am the Assistant Director of Ridge Country Childcare. I have been working alongside Anne and Emily since August of 2009. I feel so fortunate to have a career that I love alongside an amazing team! I graduated from Hereford High School in 2007 and continued on to CCBC. I was diagnosed with cancer as an early teen and again in my twenties. I am happy to say, I am now seven years cancer free! In my spare time, you can find me cooking, spoiling my two Yorkies, and right now just enjoying married life! My husband Alex and I were married in October of 2017!
Hi! My name is Nicolette Felts and I am one of the teacher's aides here at Ridge Country Childcare. Before landing this job, I was working as a nanny for a family in Cockeysville. I was juggling both jobs when I quickly realized Ridge Country Childcare was the only place I wanted to be. It’s been the best decision I have ever made! It is my home away from home and these children here have my heart. What I love most about teaching is helping the children learn and watching them grow. In my free time, I figure skate competitively and enjoy organizing!
My name is Rachel Cameron and I am a teacher's aide at Ridge Country Childcare. I graduated from Loch Raven High School in 2012. After graduating, I worked in a different field before deciding to go back to school to pursue my dream of teaching. I am currently studying at CCBC but will transfer to Towson University’s teaching program very soon! Working with children is my passion and I’m happy to do it at Ridge Country Childcare.
